MUTEC MC3+ and MC3+ USB Receive VGP 2026 Award in Japan

We are delighted to share that our MUTEC MC3+ and MC3+ USB audio re‑clockers have been awarded the VGP 2026 Award. The Visual Grand Prix (VGP) is one of Japan's most significant audio‑visual awards and has long served as a trusted benchmark for both consumers and the professional audio community.

The two MUTEC models received the award in the category DAC/DDC (100,000 - 200,000 Yen) - equivalent to approximately €620 - €1,250 or 1,330 USD.

The MC3+ is a professional audio re‑clocker and master clock generator designed to re‑time digital audio signals using exceptionally low‑noise clock technology, effectively reducing jitter and stabilizing signal integrity. The MC3+ USB expands these capabilities with a high‑quality USB audio interface, enabling a particularly clean, re‑clocked connection between computer or streaming sources and the audio system.

The VGP Awards are presented by Phile‑web and the publishing house Ongen Publishing. Phile‑web is one of Japan's largest and most established audio/home‑theater publications, reaching a wide audience of retailers, enthusiasts, and professional users. Each year, more than 100 industry experts, journalists, and leading retailers evaluate products available on the Japanese market based on sound quality, technical performance, design, and innovation.

We are honored to receive this award. Japan is known for its exceptionally discerning audio community, and being recognized by such a large and experienced jury reinforces our commitment to delivering clean, stable, and high‑quality digital audio performance. - Christian Peters, Managing Director of MUTEC
